33 W E JOSEPH, Appointed Emperor of the Romans by the favourable Divine Mercy, ever August, and King of Germany, Hungary, Bohemia, Dalmatia, Croatia, Sclavonia, Bosnia, Serbia and Bulgaria etc., Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Brabant, Styria, Carinthia, Carniola, Luxembourg, and of Upper and Lower Silesia, Württemberg and Tecka, Prince of Swabia, Marquis of the Holy Roman Empire, Burgovia, Moravia, Upper and Lower Lusatia, Count of Habsburg, Tyrol, Pfirrete, Kyburg and Gorizia, Landgrave of Alsace, Lord of the Sclavonian Mark, of Port Naon and the Salines. We make known and, by the tenure of these presents, entrust to the memory of all the people to whom this matter shall pertain. Before Us, Our loyal, beloved, venerable Arsenius Czernovich, Archbishop of the Eastern Church of Greek Rite, and Patriarch of the Rascians, along with all the States of the Illyric or Rascian Nation, have devotedly appeared before Us, and have exposed, through beseeching documents, that they have been most Mercifully bestowed by their August Lord, of most pious remembrance, and Our most Reverend Parent, LEOPOLD, Emperor of the Romans, and most Glorious King of Hungary, Dalmatia, Sclavonia, etc., on the sixth day of the Month of April, and on the twenty-first day of the Month of August, of the previously passed year 1690, certain Indults, Privileges, Immunities and Prerogatives, due to the attested firmness of their own loyalty, along with several services, that were carried out as faithfully as usefully by the said Rascian Population and Nation for Our August House against the common enemy of the Christian name, Translation of Facsimile No. 8
